US IT company hires 200 Romanians to work remotely

Crossover, a US startup set up in 2014, wants to employ 200 Romanians next year, most of them IT experts, but also engineers, architects, and marketing specialists.

They will work 100% remotely. The gross salaries vary between USD 30,000-200,000 per year, and are similar to the ones offered by the company in the other 85 countries where it operates. The salaries can reach USD 16,500 per month.

Crossover has been active in Romania for one year. It already collaborates with 100 Romanians, most of them working in IT projects.

Crossover estimates that it will pay EUR 4 million to its local employees this year. The company is currently working with Romanians from Bucharest, Iasi, Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Targu Mures, Sibiu, and Suceava.

On the long term, Crossover aims to reach 1,000 collaborators in Romania, including 200 top IT specialists. At the moment, Crossover has over 1,500 employees in 85 countries.

The company’s slogan is “The World's Best Talent 100% Remote”. Crossover’s founder and CEO is Andy Tryba, a former strategy director for Intel and White House advisor on the future of the labor market and talent management in the IT&C sector.
