A total of 150 bowling players from 15 countries have registered to participate in the IDM Bucharest International Bowling Open (IBIBO) event, which is currently taking place at IDM Club Bucuresti.

Most of the players, namely 100, are foreigners. The total prizes for this edition amount to more than EUR 27,000.

Some of the players who participate at the Bowling Open in Bucharest are Brit Paul Moor, who ranks seventh in the European Bowling Tour (EBT), Dane Thomas Larsen – number 10 in EBT, Irish champions Barry Foley and Paul Stott, and American Christopher Boyd.

Some 50 Romanian players have also entered the competition, 12 of them being members of the national bowling team.

The tournament’s final will take place on October 16, and will be broadcast live by local sports television Sport.ro. Access to the event is free.
