Three Romanian entrepreneurs have invested EUR 4.5 million in a new private kindergarten located in the Baneasa forest area in northern Bucharest.

The three investors are former lawyer Dan Prediger, and economists Florentin Oprea and Andreea Dumitru. They have an experience of over 20 years in the business and investment sectors.

The new kindergarten, called Karin’s Kids Academy, will officially open in September this year. It covers 10,000 sqm and has 12 classrooms, a medical center, a conference room, a dining room, a gym, and two terraces.

In the first year of activity, the kindergarten’s maximum capacity will be of 120 children, but the number is to increase to 226 in the coming years. Also in the first year, Karin’s Kids Academy’s personnel will be made of 30 teachers and auxiliary staff, but the number will go up to 50.

The kindergarten in Baneasa is the second Karin’s Kids Academy in Bucharest, after the one opened in the Domenii area in Bucharest. By the end of the year, the two kindergartens are expected to generate a cumulated turnover of EUR 600,000.
