Telekom Romania offers Internet speed monitoring for corporate clients

14 October 2016

Telekom Romania, one of the biggest local telecommunications groups, controlled by the German giant Deutsche Telekom, is trying to attract more corporate clients by launching a free monitoring instrument for its MetroNet fiber optics internet service. This guarantees a bandwidth of up to 1 Gbps.

The MetroNet service targets large companies, as well as small and medium-sized firms that have a significant data traffic, and therefore, need Internet connections with a guaranteed bandwidth of up to 1 Gbps.

The service also includes, without additional fees, a backup connection provided via a separate physical infrastructure.

Telekom Romania’s revenues dropped by 1.2% in the first half of the year compared to the same period last year, from EUR 482 million to EUR 476 million.
