First tech exhibition for children in Romania this May

05 May 2016

Teko Kindergarten will organize the first tech exhibition for pre-school children in Romania next week. The event, called Tech4Kids, will take place at Caro Hotel in Bucharest on May 14-15, between 10:00 and 18:00.

During the event, kids aged three to six can participate in more than 40 activities that involve over 100 different technologies, according to the organizers.

The event will include five different areas where children will have the chance to interact with technology in all its forms: The Workshop Area, The Free Play Area, The Do It Yourself Area, The Testing Area, and The Expo Area. For example, in The Workshop Area, the kids will be challenged to assemble and program robots, build circuits, experience virtual reality glasses, and solve 3D puzzles.

Some of the interactive exhibition’s stars will be robots Dash & Dot, Ozobot, Osmo, BB8, and Makey Makey, and the Google Cardboard gadget.

More than 1,000 parents and children are expected at the event. Parents who want to register their kids for the event can do it here. Participation at the event is free.

Teko Kindergarten, which opened in fall 2015, is the first tech kindergarten in Romania.
