Swiss company invests EUR 44 mln in factory in Northern Romania

Swiss company Alu Menziken will invest EUR 44 million in a plant located in the village of Mediesu Aurit, Satu Mare county.

The factory will produce aluminum components for the aeronautical and automotive industries.

Alu Menziken representatives presented the project yesterday. The plant will be completed by the end of 2018 and will employ 600 people. In the first stage, the group will build two production units, which will be subsequently expanded. The main clients of the factory will be companies such as Recaro, Audi, BMW, Bentley, Daimler.

Alu Menziken is also interested in developing dual education projects through a partnership with the local vocational schools and with the Technical University in Cluj-Napoca.
