Spring-like temperatures in Romania this week

20 February 2017

The winter is expected to take a break in Romania this week, and make some room for the spring.

While the daytime temperatures are expected to increase every day, reaching a maximum of 18 degrees Celsius on Thursday, the nighttime temperatures will also remain positive in the coming days.

For example, in Bucharest, the maximum temperature will go up from 6 degrees Celsius on Monday, to 9 degrees on Tuesday, 13 degrees on Wednesday, and 16 degrees on Thursday and Friday. Meanwhile, the nighttime temperature will stay around 1-2 degrees Celsius.

The weather will also get warm in the rest of the country. On Thursday, the people in Constanta will enjoy a daytime temperature of 15 degrees Celsius, while in Craiova and Ramnicu Valcea the thermometers will show 16 degrees Celsius.

However, it will continue to rain in some parts of Romania, especially in the Western, Center, and Northern areas. Also, snow is expected to fall at high altitudes.
