Societe Generale expands its service center in Bucharest

Societe Generale European Business Services, the outsourcing center of the French group Societe Generale, has expanded its office area.

The center leased another 4,000 sqm in the West Gate business park in Bucharest, reaching 12,700 sqm.

The center serves the subsidiaries of Societe Generale in over 20 countries, most of them in Europe. The company plans to reach 1,000 employees by June this year.

Societe Generale owns the second largest Romanian lender BRD. West Gate is one of the largest office parks in Bucharest developed by Genesis Development, a company owned by Romanian investor Liviu Tudor.

The business park is located in the Militari district close to the metro station Preciziei and consists of five office buildings with a lettable area of 75,000 sqm. The project is currently fully let and its tenants include Accenture, Alpha Bank, Carestream, Citi, Dacia-Renault, Ericsson, Siemens, Panasonic, and WNS.

Liviu Tudor also owns Novo Park, a 75,000 sqm office compound in Pipera.
