Six German tourists taken to hospital in Sibiu due to food poisoning

Six German tourists who were visiting Sibiu ended out at the hospital with symptoms of food poisoning, on Tuesday night, September 27, reports local Mediafax.

Two ambulances took them from the five-star hospital in Sibiu where they were accommodated. The tourists told the doctors that they only had breakfast at the hotel that day.

According to Sibiu Emergency Hospital spokesman Decebal Todarita, the tourists are aged between 26 and 48. Following medical investigations, they were diagnosed with food poisoning.

After receiving the necessary treatment, all six German tourists left the hospital.

Hotel representatives made no comment on the subject. However, local authorities started an investigation in this case, according to local News.ro.
