British musician Seal’s second concert in Romania, which was due to take place on Tuesday night (November 27) in Bucharest, was canceled earlier during the concert day because of the ‘unsatisfactory’ technical conditions, according to the artist’s production team. The organizers however said they had respected every request made by the singer’s staff.
According to the event organizers Marcel Avram and East European Events , the artist and his technical team refused to hold the show, citing safety reasons which were not real. The organizers had made sure everything was in place for the concert: a stage that can hold four tonnes, already paid hotel rooms, as well as catering and backstage rooms, according to their statement.
Those who had tickets for the concert tonight can get their money back starting Wednesday, November 28, from the Eventim sales points where they had purchased them.
Winner of three Grammy Awards, Seal is known for his unmistakable vocal ring and loved around the world for songs like “Killer”, “Crazy” and “Kiss from a Rose”. The British artist’s career includes eight studio albums, sold in over twenty million copies.
