Schneider Electric Romania changes president as Florentina Totth takes international position

Marius Perşinaru is the new country president of Schneider Electric Romania. He replaces Florentina Totth, who was promoted to segment and strategic clients vice president for the group's operations in Europe, according to a company statement.

From her new role, Totth will carry out her activity from Barcelona and will report to Leonid Mukhamedov, executive vice president Schneider Electric for Europe.

With an experience of over 12 years in the IT&C industry and extensive expertise in sales, marketing, and general management, Florentina Totth has been part of the Schneider Electric management since 2010.

The new country president, Marius Perşinaru joins the Schneider Electric team after a 17-year career with Xerox.

He joined Xerox Romania in 1998 as logistics director. He was then appointed operations manager and, in 2004, was promoted country manager for Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Next, Perşinaru held several regional positions, from vice president for Xerox Group’s East European operations (2009-2010), to vice president for building indirect channels on emerging markets (2011-2012), and chief commercial officer, GM technology & services for Central and Eastern Europe, Israel and Turkey (2012-2014).

Marius Perşinaru has also managed Xerox Group’s subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and Hungary.

He graduated the Hydropower Engineering Faculty of the Bucharest Polytechnic University.

Schneider Electric is a French company specialized in energy distribution and industrial automation and control applications, with operations in over 100 countries.
