Samsung Electronics brings new CEO for Romanian subsidiary

Samsung Electronics appointed a new CEO for its Romanian subsidiary, replacing Young Lak Jung with Joseph (Jeongwoo) Kim. The former CEO, who has been leading the Romanian subsidiary for the last four years, will return to South Korea to take an international position within the company.

Joseph Kim, 49, will also run the Bulgaria subsidiary, and said he was happy to take over the helm of the Romanian branch, which has showed impressive performances in the past years.

Kim has been working with Samsung Electronics for the last 25 years, having worked in human resources, sales and marketing. In the last two years he was president of the Baltic region subsidiary with Samsung Electronics, after having coordinated Samsung's global marketing.
