Romania's Hidroelectrica sells 20 micro hydropower plants at a discount
Romanian state-owned power producer Hidroelectrica has put up for sale 20 small hydro power plants with a total installed power of 16.48 MW.
The total prices amount to some EUR 11 million, down by over EUR 5.1 million compared to the initial price at the auctions that took place in September 2014.
The assets are divided into 14 packages and are located in 12 counties. Bids can be submitted until May 16.
Hidroelectrica has sold 36 small hydro power plants with a total installed capacity of 29.22 MW. The company has received over EUR 21 million for these assets.
