Romania’s Forex reserves up by almost EUR 500 mln
Romania’s National Bank – BNR’s foreign exchange reserves rose by almost EUR 500 million in March compared to the previous month. The reserves reached EUR 31.28 billion.
At the end of February, the foreign exchange reserves amounted to EUR 30.83 billion.
The total inflows reached EUR 1.39 billion in March. Most of the money entered the accounts of the Finance Ministry and the European Commission. The total outflows amounted to EUR 932 million.
The gold reserve stayed at 103.7 tons, with a value of about EUR 3.6 billion.
Romania’s international reserves thus totaled EUR 34.9 billion at the end of March.
