Romanian toy retailer Noriel plans expansion abroad

Toy retailer Noriel, which has been present on the local market since 1993, plans to expand abroad in the next 5 years, according to Cristian Constantinescu, Noriel’s CEO, cited by local Wall-street.ro. Some of the countries targeted by the company are Bulgaria, Hungary and Serbia.

The retailer currently runs a network of 44 stores in Romania and recently launched a new concept – the one-stop shop – for children under 3.

The company’s CEO expects Noriel to reach the threshold of EUR 25 million in turnover this year, up from EUR 18 million in 2013.
