Romanian students awarded at the RobotChallenge international competition in Vienna

Three Romanian teams were among the winners of this year's RobotChallenge international competition organized in Vienna on March 12-13.

The HBFS (Harder Better Faster Stronger) team, made of Ionut Cristian Dobre, Maria Circiumaru, and Mihai Craciunescu, won the bronze medal in the Line Follower category and the silver medal in the Line Follower Enhanced competition.

Moreover, in the Mega Sumo category, Romania's Shreddinger team got gold and the Wolf team won the bronze medal.

All three teams helped Romania reach the sixth place in the medal ranking. Mexico was first in the ranking, followed by Turkey, Poland, Italy, and Latvia.

RobotChallenge is one of the biggest events in the international field of robotics. It was founded in 2004 in Vienna.
