While playing around with radio frequencies, we happened to discover this new song, quite catchy, that seems to be all over the place in Romania these days. It's called Trumpet Lights and is performed by a young singer named Ami.

A feel good, dancing song, performed in English – most of it, we also heard some Spanish words in there – that you should take as it is. Don't search for depths, lyric meanings, just enjoy the skipping beat and maybe dance a bit around the house/office/dance floor. The song was composed by David Deejay – real name Adi Colceru.

Ami, 22, by her real name Andreea Ioana Moldovan, is a former X Factor contestant and this song is her first single. She is a singer, as well as a violinist, and currently studies at the Music University in Bucharest.

This recent song and her looks are pointers that Ami could become one of Romania's best known singers abroad, very much like Inna- at least this is our opinion.
