Romanian repair service provider could turn to profit after two years of losses

The Romanian electro-IT repair service provider Depanero estimates a turnover of EUR 8.1 million for this year, up 59% year-on-year.

The company also expects to record profit, after two years of losses, reports local News.ro.

Its number of customers on the repair segment grew by 29.4% to 400,000, said Adrian Antohi, Depanero general manager. The business has also increased due to an advance in the maintenance area for companies.

The company was founded in 2010 and is owned by the largest online retailer eMAG. It recorded losses of EUR 2.3 million in 2014 and 2015. Three-quarters of this amount was covered from its own funds. The rest came from eMAG, which made a capital boost of RON 3.5 million (EUR 786,000) last year.

The company has made total investments of about EUR 2 million since 2010. The company has about 300 employees.
