President Klaus Iohannis promulgated yesterday the law on labelling milk products.

The products will need to specify whether the milk is 100% Romanian or whether the product contains milk powder.  The percentage of milk powder needs to be mentioned.

The “natural milk” label will be applied to milk made exclusively from raw milk whereas the label “Romanian milk” will apply to the milk that comes exclusively from Romanian farms.
