Romanian Post gets EUR 2.8 mln to deliver documents for local courts

The Romanian Post will provide postal services for local courts until the end of this year, after winning a EUR 2.8 million contract.

The contract may be extended for the first four months of 2017, reports local Profit.ro. In this case, the Post will get another EUR 1.8 million.

Between May and June this year, the postal operator supplied the same services to the Ministry of Justice for EUR 1.1 million. The contract was attributed following a negotiation without notice.

The Communications Ministry owns 75% of the Romanian Post’s shares and local investment fund Fondul Proprietatea holds 25%.
