British group Asian Dub Foundation will headline the Zonga Urban Fusion Party on November 22 in Bucharest. Local acts will also appear, including Omul cu Sobolani, Loungerie II, ROA, Coma, Gojira and Planet H. Users of Romanian online music service Zonga can get two free tickets each to the event at Turbohalle, B-dul Iulia Maniu, next to the Păcii metro station.
Claiming the tickets is fairly straightforward on the Zonga site, but requires registration for an account first. There is a free option (only available on computers), while the Zonga Vodafone package for mobile devices costs EUR 2.99 a month. There are also competitions on the Zonga site to win VIP tickets to the Urban Fusion Party and Samsung Galaxy S3 phones.
Zonga is an online music service run by Trilulilu Music, which is 15 percent owned by Vodafone Romania. Trilulilu Music has agreements with Universal Music, Sony Music, Warner Music, EMI, Cat Music, Roton, Mediapro Music and others and currently offers around 2 million albums and singles by some 1..2 million artists on its site. Trilulilu was launched in January 2007 and now claims 2.2 million unique visitors a month.
