Romanian healthcare provider MedLife records a turnover of over EUR 100 mln

20 April 2016

Romania’s biggest private healthcare operator MedLife’s turnover exceeded EUR 100 million last year, recording a 27% increase over 2014. The company estimates a 20% organic growth rate this year.

The business could increase even more due to new acquisitions. These could amount to minimum EUR 10 million, said Mihai Marcu, MedLife board president.

“We don’t exclude bigger acquisitions, which would significantly adjust our turnover growth estimates,” Marcu added.

MedLife has already acquired the healthcare network Diamed Center and the dental clinics Dent Estet, this year. Dent Estet, which recently joined the group, had a turnover of EUR 5.5 million last year and has budgeted a 20% growth for this year.

MedLife plans to expand the Dent Estet network by opening at least 1-2 new units each year.
