Romanian finds old bomb while conducting agricultural field work
A Romanian man noticed a 82mm projectile on a field while driving a tractor for the annual agricultural work, reports local News.ro. The incident occurred in the town of Murgeni, Vaslui county.
The man notified his bosses, who in turn called the authorities. The specialists from Vaslui Inspectorate for Emergency Situations took the bomb and stored it for destruction.
Last week, two residents of Gherghita commune, Prahova county, found a total of 21 unexploded defensive grenades while carrying out spring agricultural work. All the grenades were from the World War II period.
