Romanian IT company qualifies for European Business Awards finals

Romanian IT company Qubiz, with offices in Oradea and Cluj-Napoca, has qualified for the finals of the European Business Awards, the biggest European business competition.

Qubiz has reached the final stage of the competition after competing with more than 32,000 companies from 34 European countries.

The Romanian company, which was founded by Marcel Anghel in 2008, was nominated for the title "The ELITE Award for Growth Strategy of the Year".

In the last four years, the company’s number of employees has increased by 210% from 40 to 125. Meanwhile, its turnover has gone up by over 250%.

For the European Business Awards finals, Qubiz needs to present a film on the company, which can be voted by the public. The jury of the European Business Awards include famous business people, such as Tomas Diago, founder of Softonic, lecturers of MBA programs of several universities, and politicians, one of them being Yves Leterme, Prime Minister of Belgium. However, the final winners are chosen by the public.
