Romania wants to promote tourism with EUR 5 mln per year

The minimum funds that are necessary for Romania’s touristic promotion will amount to EUR 5 million annually starting next year, according to a strategy for Romania’s promotion for the 2016 - 2020 period.

Romania’s National Tourism Authority (ANT) is currently working on the strategy, said Anca Pavel Nedea, ANT president, reports local Wall-street,ro.

The authorities will complete the document in the next period. Before making the strategy public, they will discuss it with industry representatives.

ANT has allocated EUR 2 million this year for Romania’s promotion at international tourism fairs.
