Romania opens Jewish history museum

Romania’s Government passed yesterday a bill according to which the “Elie Wiesel" National Institute for Studying the Holocaust in Romania will begin a series of preparations for opening the museum of Jewish history in Romania.

The institution will be taken from the coordination of the Government’s Secretary General and be moved under the Prime Minister’s direct coordination.

The bill also sets up an Advisory Committee for creating the museum.
