Romania Green Building Council organizes event on Greening our Hotels

Romania Green Building Council organizes the second edition of the Greening our Hotels event on September 28 at the Athenee Palace Hilton in Bucharest. The full day workshop will focus on the opportunities and the economic benefits of a responsible environmental approach towards architecture, renovation and management of a green building in the hotel industry.

The registration fee is of EUR 49 for RoGBC members until September 17 and of EUR 99 after September 17, while for non-members, EUR 99 for those who sign up until September 17 and EUR 159 after this date.

Tourism and regional development minister Elena Udrea has been invited to attend the event. Among the speakers at the event are: Steven Borncamp, head of the Romania Green Building Council, David Nicholl, country manager of Schneider Electric, Maria Daniela Toma of the Environment Ministry, Mark Velody, consultant with the EU and EBRD on energy efficiency financing.
