23 August 2016

Seven Romanian films will be screened in the Villa Borghese park in Rome between September 1 and September 3, within the final stage of the 2016 Romania Film Festival.

The event is part of Effetto Notte, a summer manifestation organized annually at Casa del Cinema in Villa Borghese park, reports local Agerpres. A total of seven films will be screened during the festival, namely three feature films, three documentaries, and one short film, but the visitors can also attend the photo exhibition, and the debates with Romanian directors and producers.

Fabio Barone, the Italian who set the world speed record on Romania’s high altitude road Transfagarasan, will also be present at the event.

The festival will kick off with the screening of Romania, drumul de la patimi la lumina (Romania, the road from suffering to the light), a documentary made by local news agency Agerpres.
