PVC window producer invests EUR 7 mln in new plant in Romania

PVC window producer Electric Plus, which owns the Barrier brand, has invested EUR 7 million in a new factory of insulating glass and a production hall for sectional residential and industrial doors.

The units are located in Bacau, in eastern Romania. The construction work started in late 2014 and took 18 months, reports local Economica.net.

The insulating glass plant has a capacity of 1,500 units per day whereas the production hall of sectional doors produces 2,000 units per month.

Electric Plus, which is controlled by local entrepreneurs, has invested EUR 12 million to expand its production and offer a full range of PVC doors and windows. The company has over 600 employees.
