(P) OMV Petrom, Shell, Rosneft and Total will meet in Constanta in a week to discuss offshore opportunities in the Black Sea

“The business opportunities in the region are favorable, as the exploration and production spending is expected to reach USD 4-5 bn by 2020. We have witnessed the increasing interest in the underexplored Black Sea recently with the first deepwater discovery and the newly shale water commercial reservoirs as well.” says Mr. Gabriel Comanescu, CEO, Grup Servicii Petroliere (GSP).

Grup Servicii Petroliere is an official partner of the Second Black Sea Offshore conference which will take place on 15-16 October 2014 in Constanta, the hub of offshore activities in the region. The event will cover offshore blocks and infrastructure development projects across the entire Black Sea region including Romania, Turkey, Bulgaria, Georgia and Russia.

Mr. Comanescu also adds “Black Sea Offshore Conference 2014 will contribute to boosting the efforts the major players in the region to unlock the full potential of the reserves and to mark important steps toward energetic balance of the region.”
