OTP Bank grants EUR 4.4 mln loans to the Romanian Post

Local lender OTP Bank Romania will grant the Romanian Post two credit lines of RON 10 million (EUR 2.2 mln) each to finance its current activity.

The bank owned by the Hungarian group OTP has won a public tender organized by the national post operator in October last year.

BCR and Bancpost also submitted offers, reports local Profit.ro. Out of the three offers, the Post admitted only two.

The postal operator will pay fees and interest rate of EUR 245,000. The contract was attributed via negotiations, for the lowest price.
