24 March 2017

Network One Distribution (NOD), the biggest distributor of electro-IT products in Romania, has signed a contract with Czech developer CTP to lease a warehouse of over 30,000 sqm in CTPark Bucharest West, a logistics park near Bucharest, reports local Economica.net.

CTP will invest about EUR 15 million in developing this warehouse by the end of this summer.

The new logistic space will help NOD expand its services in the fourth quarter of this year during peak season. Electro-IT sales usually peak in the last three months of the year, around Black Friday and before the winter holidays.

NOD has a network of 3,000 customers in Romania and is one of the main suppliers of electro-IT products for local retail networks.

CTPark Bucharest West currently hosts over 200,000 sqm of warehouses, and CTP plans to develop another 100,000 square meters by the end of this year. The developer wants to bring the logistics park to an area of over 500,000 sqm in the next years.
