Most of Romania, including Bucharest, will be under a code yellow of torrential rain and strong wind on Tuesday, June 28, between 10:00 and 22:00, according to an alert from the National Meteorological Administration.

The alert targets the mountain areas, as well as Moldova, Muntenia, Dobrogea, Transylvania, and Maramures regions. The waterfall is to reach 25 liters per sqm, and even 60-70 liters per sqm in some areas, especially in Southern and Eastern Carpathians.

From the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, the area targeted by the bad weather alert will narrow gradually, to the east and southeast parts of Romania.

A total of 27 counties in central, northern, western and southwestern Romania are currently under a code yellow of storms, the alert being valid until Tuesday, June 28, 10:00.
