Irish low cost airline Ryanair recruits “hundreds” in Romania

13 April 2016

Ryanair, Europe’s biggest low cost airline, plans to recruit a few hundred people in Romania for cabin crew positions. Irish HR firm Dalmac manages the recruitment process.

“We had a fantastic response in 2015 and were extremely satisfied with the very high calibre candidates we met in Romania.  We are now returning to fill 100’s of positions, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing industry,” said Niall Gleeson, Dalmac’s Head of Recruitment.

No previous experience is required for cabin crew positions. Applicants must be over 18 and it helps if they are “hard-working, flexible, outgoing and have a lively personality,” according to Dalmac’s representatives.

The company will hold recruitment days in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, and Timisoara. The recruitments in Bucharest take place on Friday, April 15, and those in Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara will be in May.

The selected candidates will undergo a six-week training course. The successful candidates will get to work on various airports across Europe, including Romania.

Ryanair has been expanding its presence in Romania in the past year by opening a new base in Timisoara and by launching the first domestic flights between Bucharest and Timisoara.
