Irish Film Days in Bucharest this week

The eighth edition of Irish Film Days will take place at Elvire Popesco Cinema in Bucharest on October 27-28. The festival’s lineup will include four feature films and short films.

The event will open with You’re Ugly Too (2015) directed by Mark Noonan. Romanian actor George Pistereanu, one of the film’s stars, will also be present at the screening, and will attend a Q&A session.

Next, the festival will continue with Love is a Sting" (2015) short film directed by Vincent Gallagher.

The second-day program will include the screening of Sing Street (2015), directed by John Carney, and Oscar-winning short film Stutterer (2015), directed by Benjamin Cleary.

The screenings will begin at 20:00, and all four films will have Romanian subtitles.
