Huawei sends Romanian students to training courses in China

Ten students from technical universities in Bucharest, Iasi, Craiova, and Cluj-Napoca will be in China starting August 26, for training courses organized by Chinese technology company Huawei.

The initiative is part of “Telecom Seeds for the Future 2016” program conducted by Huawei in partnership with the Romanian Government.

During the program, the Romanian students will benefit from Chinese language and culture courses, along with professional training. They will visit the headquarters of Huawei Technologies in Shenzhen where they will have access to innovative technologies, and will visit several cities in the country.

All ten students have carried out internships at Huawei Romania, being selected based on their excellent results.

Huawei was founded in 1987 and has been present on the local market since 2003. Huawei Technologies is one of the biggest technology companies in Romania. It had a turnover of over EUR 204 million and more than 1,100 employees in 2015.
