German Film Days in Bucharest this October

The tenth edition of the German Film Days event will bring a collection of new movies and documentaries to Romania’s capital this month. The films will be screened at Studio Cinema between October 16 and October 22.

Sebastian Schipper’s drama Victoria will open the event on October 16, 19:00. The film, which received several international awards, follows four young people and their nocturnal escapade in Berlin, which ends badly.

The festival’s program also includes Who Am I – No System Is Safe, a thriller directed by Baran bo Odar, Le Beau Danger directed by Rene Frölke, Cinema: A Public Affair directed by Tatiana Brandrup, Jack directed by Edward Berger, and Solo Sunny directed by Konrad Wolf.

The festival will end on October 22 with the screening of B-Movie: Lust & Sound in West-Berlin directed by Jörg A. Hoppe, Klaus Maeck, and Heiko Lange, at Control Club. Find the event’s entire program here.
