Gas distributor Engie Romania, the former GDF Suez Energy Romania, posted revenues of EUR 975 million last year, up by 2.5% over 2014, according to data published by the French group.

The company posted a net profit of EUR 46 million last year, down from EUR 52 million in 2014, reports local Ziarul Financiar.

At the end of March, GDF Suez Energy Romania announced the completion of its rebranding process. The company, which is now called Engie Romania, has 1.6 million customers and operates a network of gas pipelines of 18,500 km.

In 2014, the firm reported a turnover of EUR 951 million.
