Festival brings traffic restrictions in Romania’s Sinaia mountain resort

01 September 2015

A new edition of Sinaia Forever Festival will take place in Sinaia mountain resort this weekend. Besides music, theater, and dance shows, the event also brings traffic restrictions in the city center.

No cars will be allowed in Sinaia’s center between September 2, 08:00, and September 7, 06:00. Carol I boulevard will be closed for car traffic between International Hotel (roundabout) and Petrom gas station (next to Sinaia Casino). In this period, drivers can use the DN1 national road as an alternative route.

Octavian Goga street will also be closed for traffic between September 3, 08:00, and September 6, 24:00.

Although the festival starts on September 4, the authorities decided to close these routes so they can prepare for the event and install the stands, the scenes, and the terraces.

The festival takes places on Carol I boulevard, in the center of the city, and in the park. The event’s program includes music and dance, sports demonstrations, theater, exhibitions, and book fairs. Local artists such as Robin & The Backstabbers, Smiley, Vunk, Les Elephants Bizzares, Vama, and Delia will also perform on the stage to be located in the city’s park. Find the event’s entire program here.
