Liam has a BA in music and art, a post graduate certificate in education and has studied journalism with the London School of Journalism. His passions include literature, music and food in approximately equal measures. Something of a globe trotter, Liam has returned to Bucharest after several years in South America. Corina Dumitrescu - Features Writer
Corina began working as a journalist in 2010, after graduating from the Social Communication and Public Relations Faculty at the University of Bucharest in 2008 and starting her professional path in PR and marketing (more information on her LinkedIn profile). But since writing was always a passion, journalism came as a natural choice, with a special preference for English than for the sometimes rigid Romanian. She writes with passion about music, film, books, art, as well as business subjects and basically anything in-between, for as long as it gives way to a “creative twist”. Eleonore of Schaumburg-Lippe- Columnist
Eleonore is Danish, she holds a BA in Organization and Management and is specialized in Corporate Communication & Strategic Development. She is also a Market Economist and a Multimedia Designer. Elenore has been working as a project manager for the Danish Advertising Association from 2007-2010, and as a freelance journalist for the Danish magazine HER&NU from 2006 -2010. She is currently working in Bucharest as the Executive Director of UAPR the Romanian Advertising Association. As a Danish Viking in Romania, with a great passion for ’covrigi’, she has a burning desire to find out how Romanian women can balance on really high stilettoes on the bumpy streets of Bucharest. Mircea Crisbasanu – Guest writer on Art in Bucharest
Mircea has a Master Degree in Civil Engineering and graduated TUDelft in 2010. He came back in Romania, and entered the entrepreneurship world by starting his own company, Cycling Romania, focusing on bike touring and bike infrastructure development in Romania. He also initiated Art in Bucharest, together with his wife, a project meant to promote the valuable and less known art scene of Bucharest. Paul Wood read History at Queens’ College, Cambridge and studied to be a lawyer without having the stomach to become one. He worked in the British civil service and in the City of London. He fell in love with Romania while travelling through in 1990 and has lived and worked as a headhunter in Romania since 1998.
