Bucharest rocks! Scorpions, Muse and Iron Maiden concerts in Romania's capital this July

Good news for the rock fans in Romania: Scorpions, Muse, and Iron Maiden will perform in Bucharest this summer.

Well-known German rock band Scorpions will hold a concert at Romexpo in Bucharest, on July 16. The gig will be part of the band's 50th Anniversary Tour, according to D&D East Entertainment, the organizers of the event.

Scorpions was formed in 1965 and has grown up to be one of the most well known German rock bands, inspiring several generations of fans. Besides the spectacular effects and the sets created especially for this event, the group promises many surprises for the Romanian public, according to information posted on the event's Facebook page.

The Rock the City festival will also bring two other big names to Bucharest's Constitutiei Square this July: Muse and Iron Maiden. Muse will perform in the first day of the festival, on July 29, while the Iron Maiden concert is scheduled of July 30, according to D&D East Entertainment. Both Muse and Iron Maiden had previosuly played in Romania.

Tickets for both events are available on eventim ro starting Wednesday afternoon.

Bucharest will host many other big events this year, with Rihanna, Steve Aoki, Sia and Maroon 5 being the most recent announced artists.
