Bucharest Coffee Festival starts end-March

The Bucharest Coffee Festival, an event dedicated to industry professionals and coffee lovers alike, will take place between March 30 and April 2 at Arcub Gabroveni.

The four-day event, which brings together local producers, and local and international importers, will showcase trainings, workshops, product presentations, latte art demonstrations and specialty coffee tasting sessions.

SCAE Romania, a non-profit promoting fair coffee trade, will organize several competitions at the event: Brewers Cup, Latte Art, Cigs, Cup Tasting and Ibrick, where international attendance is expected.

The festival will bring to Bucharest coffee professionals such as Um Paul, the 2016 world champion in the Latte Art category, Kostas Kominakis, the 2016 champion at brewing Ibrik coffee, and Alexandru Nicolae, a Coffee Roasting world champion. They will deliver various demonstrations, seminars and public cupping sessions.

The festival will end with a Coffee Party celebrating the winners of the competitions organized at this year’s event.

The festival is on daily, from 10:00 to 20:00.
