Bucharest beerhouse hosts 3-day charity festival for Colectiv fire victims

On October 30, 2015, Romania witnessed one of the biggest tragedies in its history, when a fire broke out at Colectiv Club in Bucharest during a rock concert. A total of 64 people died after the tragic incident, including members of Goodbye to Gravity, the band that was playing that night.

At the end of October 2016, one year after the tragedy at the Colectiv, the Colectiv GTG 3010 Association will organize the #3010 Festival, a charity event for the victims.

The event will take place between October 28 and October 30, at Beraria H beerhouse in Bucharest, under the motto Heroes never die. Keep their spirits alive. The festival will commemorate the 64 people who lost their lives, but will also be dedicated to those who have fought for a year with the severe injuries.

Members of several Romanian rock bands such as Compact, Coma, Truda, Altar, Awake, W3 4R3 NUMB3R5, Costi Cămărășan Band, Florin Chilian, Fallen, Nexus, Hatemode, Gray Matters, and 7 Semne will go on stage during the event. The fire at Colectiv Club has directly affected the last five bands.

A one-day ticket costs RON 50 while a three-day subscription has a price of RON 100. They can be purchased online here.

Money from ticket sales will be used to cover the victims’ treatment costs.
