British group applies for state aid to open factory in Romania

Flying Trade Group, a British group active in the food sector, as well as the hotels and restaurants segment, wants to open a factory in the Bihor county, in western Romania.

The company, which plans to hire 244 people, has applied for a state aid of EUR 1.5 million, reports local Ziarul Financiar. Firm representatives haven’t mentioned the project’s value nor if the project depends on receiving the state aid.

Flying Trade Group has over 1,000 employees and is active in over 30 countries. Suki Dulai and Harry Dulai, who own the company, set it up in 1998.
