Heineken Romania, one of the largest players in the local beer market, reached a turnover of EUR 266 million last year, up 11% over the previous year.

The results increased due to the good weather and the consumption boost. The company saw a net profit of EUR 24.4 million last year.

Heineken is the second largest company in the brewing industry, according to the financial results published in 2014.

Market leader Ursus Breweries hasn’t yet published its results for 2015.
