State-owned lender EximBank has granted a RON 100 million (EUR 21.9 million) loan to BCR Leasing, a non-banking financial institution that is part of BCR group.

The money will help the leasing company grant short-term and medium-term loans to its customers. The loan was given for 60 months with a grace period of 12 months from the period of use of three months. It was partially secured with a letter of guarantee issued by Erste Group Bank, BCR’s majority shareholder, according to information provided by EximBank.
