A man armed with a rubber bullet gun has entered into a local bank agency and threatened the staff, asking for money. The robbery attempt took place on Tuesday morning, June 7, at a BRD unit in Bucharest’s District 3.

The man, who was wearing dark clothes and had his face covered, ran off empty handed after the bank cashier pushed the panic button, reports local Mediafax.

The incident was reported at the emergency number 112 at about 9:23 in the morning, when there were no clients at the bank, a Bucharest Police spokesman said.

The Police are now trying to track down the suspect with the help of a specially trained dog.
