Kings of Leon, one of the most popular rock bands in the world, will have their first concert in Bucharest this year. The gig will take place on June 17 on Bucharest’s National Arena.

The American band have included Romanian in the international tour to promote their most recent album, WALLS, which includes songs such as Waste a Moment, WALLS, and Find Me. The concert in Bucharest is organized in partnership with the Bucharest City Hall, which owns the National Arena.

Founded in 1999 in Nashville, Tennessee, Kings of Leon have produced 7 albums. They have sold over 18 million albums and 24 million singles worldwide and have won 4 Grammy awards. Their biggest hits include Sex on Fire (2009) and Use Somebody (2010).

The group is made of three brothers, namely Anthony Caleb Followill (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Nathan Followill (drums, percussion, backing vocals), and Jared Followill (bass guitar, backing vocals), and their cousin Matthew Followill (lead guitar, backing vocals).

Tickets for the concert in Bucharest sell on Bilete.ro and in partner-shops for prices starting RON 95 (EUR 21). The VIP tickets are RON 500 (EUR 111), and the Golden tickets, in front of the stage, are RON 285 (EUR 63). The ticket vendor also charges a 7% tax for processing.
