Howard Dean, an American politician who was a candidate for the Democratic nomination in the United States presidential election in 2004, congratulated Romanian President Klaus Iohannis for backing the protesters against the Government, saying that maybe Iohannis should be running the USA.

Sharing a link to a story on Euoberver.com about Klaus Iohannis’ statement in Malta, in which he said that he supports the Romanians who protest against the Government’s decision to adopt the emergency ordinance that amends the Penal Code, Dean wrote on his Twitter page: “For that matter maybe Johannes should be running the USA!!!”

Moreover, in a previous post, Howard Dean also said: “Maybe Johannes should be running the EU. Bravo!”

Present in Malta for a EU summit, the Romanian President told the reporters: “We have hundreds of thousands of my Romanians out in the streets and I trust them, I trust my people, I believe in Romania.”
