Aberdeen sells Construdava office building in Bucharest

The office building Construdava, located in Bucharest’s Pipera area, was sold by the investment fund Aberdeen Asset Management Deutschland AG to AdamAmerica.

Construdava is an office building with a total surface of 9,400 sqm, which is completely leased to Metro Systems Romania, the IT division of Metro Group. Metro Systems ranks eighth among the largest software companies in Romania, employing 800 programmers who operate in over 30 countries.

The transaction has been advised by Colliers International and Cameron McKenna Romania law firm, as seller’s consultants. The buyer, AdamAmerica, has been represented in this transaction by Biris Goran law firm.

AdamAmerica’s European division, which is managed by Isaac Cohen Hoshen, a former co-founder of Adama Holdings, acquired in March last year another office building from Aberdeen Asset Management Deutschland AG, namely Phoenix Tower, located in Bucharest.

Aberdeen Asset Management Deutschland AG was involved in the largest retail transaction in Romania in 2015, namely the sale of Auchan Titan Shopping Center to NEPI.

AdamAmerica focuses its activity on developing residential and office buildings in New York. The group’s European Division has a large residential portfolio in Berlin, Frankfurt, Strasbourg, and Bucharest.
